Really enjoying your deeper dives into MD'ing. Have you talked about the Stamets stack? It seems from what I have researched, MD'ing without niacin and lions mane, you are missing out. What are your thoughts on this?
I’m so happy to hear you’re into the deeper dives! The Stamets Stack is definitely a hot topic. Pairing psilocybin with Lion’s Mane and niacin has some solid research behind it, especially for boosting neuroplasticity. But here’s the thing: not everyone does well with niacin—it can cause that uncomfortable flushing that throws people off. There are a few contraindications. (Low blood pressure, uric acid issues and some medications)
For my clients, I often pair Lion’s Mane with psilocybin. They work together beautifully for clarity and brain support, even without the niacin. You’re definitely not missing out if you tweak it to fit your needs. It’s all about what works best for your body. Have you tried the full stack, or do you have your own go-to combo?
