Real People, Real Healing with Psilocybin (free edition)
Hello Beautiful Souls!
Welcome to my newsletter! This is where I share insights, updates, and reflections on our journey with psychedelics, especially psilocybin. We talk about everything from microdosing to deeper, more therapeutic experiences.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Alice—a psychedelic guide with decades of experience, and I’m passionate about helping people connect with their true potential. I use a blend of various therapeutic models along with the profound insights from my own journeys. My goal is to support you in navigating life's ups and downs with more grace and clarity. Through this newsletter, I hope to inspire and accompany you on your own journey of personal and collective evolution.
Now, I'm super excited to kick off a special edition—a five-part series where we'll dive into the personal stories of people who have explored psilocybin for healing and growth. We’ve got four incredible stories from folks who’ve experienced some pretty profound changes. Each one is unique, showcasing a variety of backgrounds and journeys.
But, let's keep it real—psilocybin isn't for everyone. That's why we’re also including a story from someone who found that this path just wasn’t the right fit for them. It’s all about sharing the full picture, showing both the potential and the limitations of using this powerful tool.
First up, we have Sarah (not her real name), who’s had a transformative experience with psilocybin. Her story is just one example of how this journey can unfold.
If you have your own story with psilocybin and want to be featured in a future series, feel free to message me with your experience. Your stories are important and can really help others who might be considering this path.
Looking forward to sharing these journeys with you all!
Dear Friends,
Alice asked me to share my story with you all, and I'm happy to do so because my journey has been nothing short of transformative. I think it's important to open up about these experiences, especially considering the stigma that's been attached to psychedelics for so long. Like many from my generation, I grew up with a lot of mixed messages. We were told in school, by our parents, and pretty much everywhere else that psychedelics were dangerous, a surefire way to ruin your life. So, I had this ingrained fear of them. They were something I thought I'd never touch.
Fast forward to a few years ago, and I was really struggling. My childhood was rough, full of neglect and emotional abuse, and those old wounds were still affecting my life in big ways. Even after years of therapy, there was this part of me that felt unreachable, like no amount of talking or traditional healing could get to it. Then, a close friend of mine shared their experience with psilocybin. They had gone through some serious healing and found a sense of peace that sounded amazing. It piqued my interest, but I was still pretty scared.
That’s when I reached out to Alice. I'd known her for a while and knew she had a lot of experience with this kind of work. From our first conversation, I felt a strong sense of trust. We connected over our similar experiences growing up, and she listened to me with a level of understanding that felt really genuine. We put together a plan that felt right, something that addressed my specific needs and fears.
On the day of my first psilocybin journey, I was a mix of nerves and excitement. I had no idea what to expect. As the psilocybin started to work, I felt this deep calmness settle over me—something I hadn't felt in what seemed like forever. Alice was there, guiding me with a gentle touch, giving me space but also providing support.
As the session went on, old memories and emotions started to surface. It was intense, like opening a Pandora’s box of feelings I had pushed down for years. But instead of being overwhelmed, I found myself observing these memories from a distance, almost like I was watching a film. For the first time, I could see not just the pain, but also the resilience that had helped me survive. I felt a level of self-compassion I had never accessed before.
At one point, I felt this overwhelming sense of being connected to something bigger than myself. It was like a warm, loving presence was holding me, giving me the strength to face my traumas head-on. That connection helped me release some of the burdens I'd been carrying around for decades. For the first time in a long time, I felt real relief and a sense of healing.
Coming out of that experience, I knew something had shifted deep inside me. It wasn't just about dealing with old wounds; it was like discovering a whole new way of being. With Alice's continued support, I've been able to bring the insights and feelings from that journey into my everyday life.
To keep the momentum going, I started microdosing. At first, I was hesitant. There was still a part of me that felt uneasy about using psychedelics, but microdosing has been a gentle, supportive tool. It’s helped me stay grounded and more connected to myself. It's like having a subtle, guiding hand helping me navigate daily life, making it easier to process emotions and stay balanced.
Looking back, my experiences with psilocybin and microdosing have been about so much more than just healing past traumas. They’ve been about reclaiming my future, discovering new strengths, and finding a sense of peace I never thought possible. The trauma is still part of my story, but it doesn't dominate my life anymore. With each journey and each microdose, I continue to heal and grow, becoming more of who I was always meant to be.
I'm sharing my story because I know there are others out there who might be stuck, just like I was, and who may still be holding onto old fears about psychedelics. I want to help change the narrative. These medicines, when used responsibly and with the right guidance, can be powerful tools for healing and personal growth. My experiences with Alice and psilocybin have transformed my life, and I hope that by sharing my story, others might see that there are alternative paths to healing worth exploring. Thank you for listening.
