This weekend marks a special milestone for me—my birthday!
As I reflect on the past year, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible journey it has been. Entering a more “seasoned” chapter of my life has brought me profound realizations about aging, embracing my core values, and the power of community.
One key insight I've gained is that as I’ve gotten older, I’ve become incredibly intentional with how I spend my energy. I am energy-driven, and if my energy is a finite resource, I choose to spend it in ways that align with my core values. I spend time with people who share my values of authenticity, caring for others, and prioritizing connection over division. I choose to work with clients who are authentic, genuinely committed to upleveling their lives, and dedicated to their personal growth.
One of the most transformative aspects of my life has been deepening my work with this sacred medicine. It has not only helped me navigate life's challenges with greater calm and clarity but also deepened my connection to nature and the intelligence it holds.
I hear from clients over and over about how microdosing has improved their capacity to navigate life. It’s been such a gift over the years to watch lives transform and I gain so much from working with my clients.
Here are a few comments from just last week.
Improved Focus Without Side Effects: "Alice, microdosing with you has improved my focus more than Adderall ever did, and I don't get that jittery feeling anymore. It's been a game-changer for my productivity."
Enhanced Relationships: "I'm so much nicer and less reactive with my partner now. Microdosing has really helped me stay calm and handle situations more gracefully."
Accelerated Healing: "It's like my healing got on a fast track with microdosing. Talk therapy alone never worked for me, but the strategies you walk me through, coupled with microdosing, were exactly what I needed."
Working with my clients is an incredibly rewarding experience. It's amazing to see their transformations and growth up close. Each journey is unique, and I'm honored to be a part of it, providing personalized support and strategies. Seeing these positive changes keeps me passionate about what I do and excited to help others find their paths to healing and happiness.
Let’s shift gears for a second and talk about a subject I don’t see discussed as much….
Micro Traumas and the Healing Power of Psilocybin
We often hear about PTSD, mental health issues, and major traumas, and how psilocybin and psychedelics can help with healing and living better. But what about the small stuff, the micro traumas we all go through just by being human? Daily stresses and minor emotional hits add up and affect our mental health. Psilocybin can be a great help in healing these micro traumas, building resilience, and improving our overall well-being.
I love listening to podcasts, especially Dr. Mark Hyman's "The Doctor’s Farmacy." Even though I usually skip the product plugs, I find some real gems in the episodes. One of my favorites is the one with Paul Stamets, a renowned mycologist, which aired last year but I keep going back to. Paul Stamets explains that psilocybin can make big changes in the brain through neuroplasticity. This means it helps with major mental health issues like PTSD and depression and also heals the everyday micro traumas we all experience.
These small stresses add up over time, impacting our mental health and well-being. Psilocybin helps the brain rewire and heal itself, leading to more resilience and a balanced life. In simple terms, psilocybin helps the brain create new connections and pathways, allowing it to recover from both big and small stresses and traumas. It helps reset and rebuild the brain, leading to better mental health, improved emotional resilience, and a greater capacity to handle daily challenges.
Let’s face it, it’s not called the human condition for nothing. Being human is not easy. We all face daily struggles, setbacks, and emotional bumps in the road. These little things can build up and start to weigh us down. Psilocybin offers a way to address these micro traumas, helping us to process and move past them. By fostering a healthier, more flexible mind, we can better navigate life's ups and downs and find more balance and peace in our everyday lives.
Understanding the impact of micro traumas and how psilocybin can help to heal them is key to a holistic approach to mental health. By recognizing and addressing these everyday stresses, we can improve our overall well-being and quality of life.
Psilocybin offers a powerful tool for not just coping but thriving in the face of life's challenges, paving the way for a more resilient and balanced existence.
Bring Friends, Get Rewarded: $100 for Each New Client!
In the spirit of growth and community, I am excited to introduce my new referral program. For the month of June , you can earn a $100 credit for every person you refer who signs up as a microdosing client, and your referrals will receive $50 off their first session. Just have them mention the referral code JUNEREFERRAL when they email me at alicemicrodoses@proton.me or message me here to set up their first session.
Your referrals are more than just clients—they are potential new members of our community who can benefit from the same support and transformation you have experienced. At a Glance: Microdose Mentoring Program
Program Overview:
My Microdose Mentoring Program is designed to guide individuals through the transformative journey of microdosing psilocybin. By combining the therapeutic benefits of microdosing with personalized mentorship and integrative practices, I aim to support clients in achieving profound personal growth, emotional well-being, and behavioral change.
Key Components:
Personalized Assessment:
Each client begins with an in-depth consultation to assess their goals, challenges, and medical history. This helps me create a tailored microdosing regimen that aligns with their unique needs and aspirations.
Custom Microdosing Plan:
Based on the initial assessment, I develop a customized microdosing schedule. This includes dosage guidelines, frequency, and duration, ensuring a safe and effective experience.
Holistic Integration:
My program incorporates complementary practices such as mindfulness, meditation, and energy work. These practices enhance the benefits of microdosing and support holistic healing and growth.
Therapeutic Support:
I provide ongoing therapeutic support using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These modalities help clients navigate emotional challenges and foster resilience. However, this is not your average talk therapy; it is forward-moving, focused on strategies and implementations to work with the microdose.
Regular Check-ins:
Clients receive regular check-ins to monitor their progress, adjust the microdosing plan as needed, and address any concerns. These check-ins can be conducted monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly via video calls, phone calls, or in-person sessions.
Client Education:
I educate clients about the science and benefits of microdosing, empowering them with knowledge and confidence. This includes understanding the neurobiological effects, potential risks, and best practices.
Integration Workshops:
I offer workshops focused on integrating the insights gained from microdosing into everyday life. Topics include stress management, creativity enhancement, and cultivating healthy habits.
Program Benefits:
Emotional Well-being: Clients often experience reduced anxiety, improved mood, and greater emotional resilience.
Behavioral Change: Microdosing can support clients in breaking free from harmful habits such as alcohol dependency.
Enhanced Creativity: Many clients report heightened creativity and problem-solving abilities.
Improved Relationships: The program fosters better interpersonal relationships through increased empathy and communication skills.
Personal Growth: Clients gain deeper self-awareness, clarity of purpose, and alignment with their core values.

P.S. If you're in the WNC area and would like to experience what I call a creative dose ceremony, I invite you to join me. A creative dose ceremony involves taking a mid-dose in a ceremonial form. This practice aims to open the creativity centers in your brain, helping you to truly create the life you are striving for. A mid-dose is particularly beneficial in fostering a sense of wonderment, much like childlike wonder, allowing you to see the world with fresh eyes and a renewed sense of possibility. Reach out to learn more and schedule your session. I'm currently planning weekday sessions in the forest, which will include forest bathing. Reach out to learn more and schedule your session.
